Molly Bernard gives birth, welcomes first baby with wife Hannah Lieberman

Molly Bernard quietly welcomed a baby girl last month.

The “Younger” alum revealed on Saturday that she gave birth to her and her wife Hannah Lieberman’s first child on Jan. 28.

“We are overjoyed and more in love than we ever imagined,” the 34-year-old wrote via Instagram. “It’s been a gorgeous two week whirlwind adjusting to parenthood and it’s the coolest club we’ve ever been in.

“Hannah and I want to stay in our new family cocoon of diapers and milk and snuggles and eat every second of it up for as long as possible,” she continued.

Bernard told her Instagram followers in November 2022 that her first “gayby” was on the way.

“We couldn’t be more excited to start our parenthood journey!” she captioned her bump debut, gushing about how “thrilled” she and the attorney felt.

“Creating a queer family in a world where lgbtq+ rights are constantly under threat is a daunting task,” the then-pregnant actress wrote.

“Loving Hannah has been one of the most profound highlights of my life and I am honored I get to be a parent with her.”

Bernard has had parenting practice, as she was named the godmother of her former co-star Hilary Duff’s daughter Banks in 2018. Three years later, she witnessed the home birth of Banks’ sister, Mae.

Duff, 35, was present when Bernard and Lieberman married in September 2021, one year after the duo’s engagement.

“We said YES!” Bernard wrote alongside a celebratory selfie in January 2020.

Duff shared the same image to her own feed at the time, gushing, “Look at this happiness♥️♥️♥️ feel lucky to have these women in my life! Happy they found each other.”

The couple began publicly dating in 2018.

One year prior, Bernard spoke to “Entertainment Tonight” about identifying as pansexual.

“It would be perfectly possible and wonderful to have a [relationship with a] woman or trans person,” the “Alpha House” alum told the outlet in 2017, clarifying that she predominantly dated men.

After saying she has “always felt this way,” Bernard added, “Now that it’s part of the conversation, we can talk about it. There’s language for it.”
